Devices Price List — Sell Us Your Electronics

Devices Price List

Klean Recycling buys electronics. Our devices price list is the practical end of urban mining: instead of asking you to pay for disposal, we tell you what your retired hardware is worth and purchase it for recycling.

Sell and recycle in one step

Most people hold on to old phones, laptops and tablets because the alternatives are unappealing — a landfill bin that destroys the value, or a drawer that defers the decision. Selling the device to a recycler removes both problems at once. The hardware leaves your premises, it is processed for material recovery rather than buried, and you are paid for it. That is the whole proposition: electronics recycling that pays its own way.

What determines the price

Four things tell us what a device is worth to us: the device type, the quantity, the condition and the location. Type and condition set what can be recovered and how much work the breakdown takes; quantity determines handling and logistics; location determines collection. Give us those four details and we can quote accurately rather than approximately. Single devices, office IT refreshes and bulk lots are all handled through the same process.

Condition is the detail people most often expect to disqualify them. It rarely does. A device that no longer powers on still contains the same materials it did when it worked, and urban mining is interested in the contents rather than the function. Broken, incomplete and obsolete hardware are all legitimate entries on the price list.

What happens after the sale

Once a device is with us it enters the urban mining process — discarded devices are broken down into recoverable, usable materials, and those materials are routed back to industry as feedstock. Nothing is simply moved from your storeroom to a landfill. That distinction matters, because every year up to 140,000 tonnes of electronic waste are disposed of in Canadian landfills and electronic waste is the fastest-growing waste the world creates. Each device sold into recovery is one that does not join that total.

Who you are selling to

Klean Recycling recycles e-waste — work that has been featured in a CNN video — and is wholly owned by Klean Industries, a resource-recovery group that engineers and delivers waste-conversion facilities internationally. You are not selling into an opaque reseller chain; you are selling into a processing operation backed by an industrial parent. Send us your device type, quantity, condition and location and we will come back with a price.
